The date is November 15th at the Frankfort Convention Center, 405 Mero Street, Frankfort, KY. Hours are 9 to 4:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Join us for a conversation with author Joan Medlicott,
author of The Ladies of Covington Send Their Love, and her new book, Come Walk With Me, Friday, November 14th, 2008 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at the Frankfort Convention Center.
Tickets are $15.00 and can be purchased from Jospeh-Beth Booksellers at (859) 273-2911 or by emailing Connie Crowe at kybookfair@ky.gov. The Book is not included in the luncheon price. Ms. Medlicott will be available to sign copies of her titles after the luncheon. Credit Card orders must be purchased through Joseph-Beth Booksellers.
10 a.m. – Breakfast with Patrick Henry Hughes, author
of I Am Potential at the Capital Plaza Hotel, 405 Wilkinson Blvd. His father, Patrick John Hughes, will join the breakfast. The $27 cost includes the breakfast buffet and a copy of his book.

Noon – Luncheon at the Kentucky History Center with James L. Swanson, author of Manhunt: The 12-Day Chase for Lincoln’s Killer. For ticket information, call Julia Curry at the Kentucky Historical Society at (502) 564-1792 or e-mail Connie Crowe at kybookfair@ky.gov.
3:15 to 4:15 p.m. – Tea with Kathleen Ernst at the Frankfort Convention Center, 405 Mero St., in the Symposium Room.
The event includes a craft and a talk by Ernst as well as a signed copy of Midnight in Lonesome Hollow: A Kit Mystery (American Girl Mysteries). Tickets may be purchased from Joseph-Beth Booksellers in Lexington at (859) 273-2911, or by contacting Connie Crowe at kybookfair@ky.gov or by calling (502) 229-2542. Tickets are $12 for the Tea, a copy of the book and a craft activity; to attend the tea without purchasing a book, the cost is $7.
